ON THE RUN: CCTV footage of the armed offender making his exit from the Peach and Cream adult store in Henderson.
Police are appealing for information about an armed robber who threatened a sex shop worker with a pistol and bound her hands with tape.
The female staff member at the Peaches and Cream Megastore in Henderson was working alone at 9.30am on Monday when the gunman entered the Lincoln Rd shop.
He tied the woman's hands with duct tape and then fled with the store's takings.
The woman was shaken but uninjured and ran to a neighbouring cheesecake shop where manager Joe Zhou released her hands from behind her back.
Zhou said the woman was ''upset and shaking'' from the three minute ordeal.
The gunman fled along Lincoln Rd. He was wearing an orange reflective raincoat, yellow reflective pants, a black beanie, black and white shoes and light coloured gloves.
He was carrying a black pistol.
He is described as Maori or Polynesian, about 178cm tall and of medium build.
It is not yet known how much money the robber got away with or whether he stole anything else from the adult store.
Police want to speak to anyone with information about the incident or the man's whereabouts.
Call Detective Constable James Keene on 839 0638 if you have any information.
